Mobile Deposit
No need to come into a branch to deposit a check into one of your West-Aircomm Share Savings or Checking accounts. That’s good news when you’re busy, traveling, or social distancing. You can deposit checks from anywhere using the West-Aircomm Mobile Banking app and your smartphone camera.*
- Be a West-Aircomm member in good standing.
- Enroll in Virtual Branch.
- Have a valid email address.
- Use an Android or Apple smartphone with a rear-facing camera.
- Endorse the check with: FOR REMOTE DEPOSIT ONLY AT WEST-AIRCOMM FCU followed by YOUR ACCOUNT NUMBER (i.e. 12345). You must use this endorsement for every check deposited using West-Aircomm Mobile Deposit. Unendorsed checks will be rejected.
- On the West-Aircomm’s Mobile App, log in to your account.
- Tap Deposit.
- Tap Deposit a Check.
- Select the account that will receive the deposit.
- Specify the check amount, including the decimal point.**
- Tap Take Photos.
- Use your device camera and the on-screen guides to take a picture of the “Front” and “Back” of your check.
- Verify the amount and account and tap Make Deposit.
Funds deposited will be available within two business days. After you confirm that your deposit has posted using your Online Banking account history or monthly statement, keep the check in a secure place for 180 days from check posting date. You can destroy mobile deposited checks after 180 days.
** The total daily limit for funds deposited using Mobile Deposit is $5,000.00 with a per item limit of $3,000.00 There is no max number of times per day or rolling 30-day amount.
Before taking the picture of the check for your mobile deposit, make sure it’s ready for its photoshoot. In addition to making sure that the check information–date, check number, amount, payee, signatures, MICR line, routing, and transit numbers–is clearly visible in dark ink, you’ll get the best results when you:
- Smooth out the check so that it is free of wrinkles or curled edges.
- Place check on a dark flat surface.
- Hold the phone directly over the check to avoid blurring that occurs when photos are taken at an angle.
- Take the photo in a well-lit area.
- Turn off your flash.
West-Aircomm reviews mobile deposit checks to verify eligibility for deposit. Checks that do not meet the requirements may be rejected. Checks may be deemed ineligible when:
- The payee is not the account owner.
- The check is dated for any day after the day of deposit or any day more than six months before the day of deposit.
- MICR information (the line of numbers at the bottom of the check) is unreadable.
- The check is torn, damaged, altered, incomplete, or suspect.
- The check is drawn on banks located outside the United States or in a foreign currency.
- The deposit has been previously processed.

Personal Tellerline
Your account is a just a phone call away when you use the West-Aircomm Personal Tellerline. Get account information, complete a transaction, or change your pin number.
To use your Personal Tellerline with West-Aircomm:
- Call 724-775-4482 or 1-888-453-0170 (if you are calling from outside of area code 724 or 412).
- From the menu, select:
1. Quick Check
2. Account information
3. Perform transaction activity
4. Member services to change your pin number. - Enter your member number/account number followed by the # sign.
- Enter your four-digit PIN* followed by the # sign.
- Follow the prompts to hear balances, check your account, make transfers within your account number, or request a check mailed to you.
