West-Aircomm Cares

We don’t just say it, we do it.

As a full-service credit union, we are proud to serve the community with financial products and services at lower fees and consumer-friendly assistance. Our service and care for the community doesn’t end with the financial transaction. Our products and services are just one part of our investment in the tri-county community. From scholarships to volunteerism, we walk the talk. From basket raffles and food drives to walks, coat donations, and more, this milestone reflects countless moments of generosity and dedication. Together, we’re helping provide life-changing mentorship for kids in our community.

Since 2016, WAC Cares has donated $125,000 to nine incredible charities—proof that when we come together, we make a difference. Thank you to everyone who joined us this year!

WAC “Spotlight Charity” Program

West-Aircomm Cares (WAC), our employee volunteer fundraising group, has identified and focused fundraising efforts on a single charity each year, and every year our staff volunteers an extraordinary number of hours to charitable organizations.

2025

This year, we are spotlighting three charities: Animal Friends, the Humane Society of Beaver County, and the Humane Society of Butler County. We donated $18,000 between the three charities.

2024

Our spotlight charity is Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Beaver County. WAC Cares proudly donated $15,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Beaver County this year.

2023

We are excited to announce that we have raised $19,000 for our 2023 Spotlight Charity, Bags & Blessings. We are incredibly thankful to our employees who dedicated their time and resources to support our WAC Cares program and the events that helped us achieve this goal. We also want to express our gratitude to our members for their continuous support throughout the year. Our staff worked hard to plan various fundraising activities, including basket raffles, lottery ticket sales, food trucks, candy bar sales, and jeans days. They also volunteered their time for the annual 5k race and to fill up bags for cancer patients. The funds we raised will go towards Bags & Blessings’ mission to support cancer patients undergoing treatment and their families.

2022

Our 2022 spotlight charity is Adoption Connection, PA. This is a full-service foster care agency.  Their foster care program is called Family Connections. They serve State & County agencies that need families and services for children in Child Protective Services and, most importantly, serves children in need of stable, loving homes, whether their placement is temporary, long term or permanent.  The Adoption Connection also trains, supports and provides strong advocacy services for the families who welcome these children into their homes.  Adoption Connection, PA knows that an adoption or foster care placement is not a one-time event, but a journey that requires love, commitment, patience and care, and we commit ourselves in service to each and every family and child for as long as they need us.

Adoption Connection is in need of a vehicle to transport kids. All fundraising efforts are to help them purchase a van.

2021

We are excited to announce that we raised $13,000 for our 2021 Spotlight Charity, The Center Midland. We are thankful for our employees who volunteered their time and donated to events supporting the community for our WAC Cares program and thank you to our members for their continued support throughout the year. These funds were raised through the efforts of our staff by planning various fundraisers including basket raffles, food trucks, candy bar sales and jeans days.
